Phelophepa Healthcare Trains undergo a refurbishment programme

Transnet’s Phelophepa Healthcare trains will commence a maintenance programme after servicing over 150 000 patients across the country in the past few months. The two Phelophepa Healthcare trains (I and II) are heading back to Salt River, Cape Town at one of Transnet Engineering’s maintenance site for annual refurbishment programme. The two trains operates simultaneously from January to October offering primary health care to remote communities.

The prestigious Transnet Rural and Farm Schools Tournament launch in Gauteng was a huge success amongst learners, coaches, and sports officials. But what made the evening such a humbling experience for all involved was seeing first hand the excitement on the faces of the youths.
